The primary goal of this open was to present the sport of golf in a modern and youthful setting. This was achieved through video game inspired graphics in a slick, tech driven environment. With no access to live action footage and a limited budget the challenge was to build a fully graphical opening under a tight two-week deadline. Player images could not be used as this would require updating every year and we wanted to build an open that would work for male and female events. The result was a unique reveal of the show logo in a rich golf environment. The response from our target audience of 18-55 was overwhelming positive.
